It is best practice to ensure that the Client entered on the Job Bag is the correct one. However, errors can occur which means you will need to change the Client during the course of the Job Bag cycle.
You can change the client on a Job Bag that has financial documents attached, as long as the relevant setting is selected from the Allow Client change on Job With Financial Documents option in Settings > Global Settings.
Below are steps to show you how to change the client on a Job Bag.
- If you don't already have the Job Bag open, select the Job Bag against which you want to change the name of the Client.
Click the drop down arrow on the Client field, and select the Client you want to add from the list that appears.
In this example, Trish Beauty Spa – Heidelberg is the 'new' client.
Notice that once the Client is changed, the Product field becomes empty.
- Click the drop down arrow on the Product field to select the product associated with the Client.
- Make all the necessary changes to the job, and then click the Save button on the Toolbar.
