Step-by-step guide

Editing a Task from the Resource Planner

  1. With the Resource Planner open, double-click the day on which changes should be made.

In this example, 26 March was selected against the user Mark Jackson.

The Select Task/Booking dialog appears. This dialog only appears if you have a combination of Tasks and Bookings on the selected day.

  2. Select the radio button against the Task to select it.

  3. Click the Select button.

    The Edit Task dialog appears.

  4. Using the date picker on the Start Date and Due Date fields, select the dates required.

If Start and Due Dates are adjusted on a multi-day task, the linked tasks will be adjusted accordingly.  To change Allocated Hours for a Task you can navigate to the Job List view, select the Job that this Task belongs to and edit the Task under the Task/Gantt view, or navigate to the Job Bag.

  5. Click the Save button to save the changes made.

You will be redirected to the Resource Planner view.

If the selected Task spans over multiple days, the Allocated Hours will equal the total number of hours.
