Groups are predominantly used for Work Types. They allow the Chase Administrator to group together Clients, Products or Business Units that require the same Work Types and markup values.  This restricts the Work Types available when working with financial documents.

You can also define Security Groups, which enable you to create groups of Users who will have access to specific Chase companies, specific clients, or a limited subset of Chase data.

Group Types are items that determine how the Group will be used.

  • Business Unit:  This restricts access to certain divisions or departments in the organisation.
  • Client WorkTypes: They allow the Chase Administrator to group together Clients that require the same Work Types and markup values. This restricts the Work Types available when working with financial documents.
  • Product WorkTypes: Similar to Client Work Types but they allow control at a Product level.
  • Security: Security Groups can be used to limit access to specific companies or jobs relating to specific clients.

Group Linking screen

This screen allows you to link items to Groups. Once a Group has been created, link the items of the type defined (ClientsProductsBusiness Units, Users, or Suppliers) to the Group. This screen changes according to the Group Type selected.
