If your agency uses Microsoft Teams for project-related collaboration, you can link your Chase documents to Channels. This will enable individuals to easily navigate between Chase and Microsoft Teams. Users will be able to log in to Chase and open the relevant Chase document without having to leave the Microsoft Teams Channel. If a new job is created, you can add a link to a Microsoft Teams Channel to notify the relevant team members. To link Chase documents to Channels, or create a new Channel, you need to ensure that there is an existing Team. For this integration to work, some setup is required. Link to an existing Teams Channel


Here's a visual demonstration for linking to an existing Teams Channel


  1. Open the document to which you want to add a link.
  2. Click the Links button on the Toolbar and select Add Link.



    The Add Link dialog appears.

  3. Click the Link Type drop down and select the app that you want to link this document to.

    For this example, Teams Channel was selected.




  4. Click the Team drop down and select the relevant Team.

    If the Team that you want is not displayed on the drop down, you can click the button next to the Team field to select and save teams that you want to see on the drop down.


    For this example, Burger King - Double Spicy Whopper was selected. 



  5. Select a Teams Channel to be linked in the Channel field drop down. 

    For this example, General was entered.



  6. Optionally click the Verify button.



    A link to the Teams Channel will be added below the Channel field and the Channel name is displayed in the Description field. This shows that this is a valid Channel.

  7. Click the Link button.



    A link to the Teams Channel will be added to the Links drop down list.



    A new tab will be added to the Teams Channel. Your Team will be able to log into Chase and access the document.



Create a Teams Channel

  1. Open the document to which you want to add a link.
  2. Click the Links button on the Toolbar and select Add Link.



    The Add Link dialog appears.

  3. Click the Link Type drop down and select the app that you want to link this Job to.

    For this example, Teams Channel was selected.



  4. Click the Create New radio button.



  5. Click the Team drop down and select the relevant Team.

    If the Team that you want is not displayed on the drop down, you can click the button next to the Team field to select and save teams that you want to see on the drop down.


    For this example, Burger King - Double Spicy Whopper was selected. 



  6. In the Channel Name field, enter a name for the new Channel or leave the field empty for the name to be automatically created.

  7. Click the Link button.



    A link to the Teams Channel will be added to the Links drop down list.



    A new Teams Channel will be added to Team.



    When the Teams Channel is selected, you will notice a tab.
