The My Tasks screen is where you can find all of the tasks assigned to you by Traffic.  It is also from where you manage your tasks.  

You can do the following from the My Tasks screen:

  • Capture time against a task
  • View detailed information about the assigned tasks such as the client name, job number, expected finish date and actual hours
  • Mark a task as complete
  • Access the Job Brief History

DescriptionParent task description
Task Type

The description of the task with robot colours. Task descriptor colours display a colour based on the deadline for the task.

  • Red: Means the task is overdue or the finish date has lapsed
  • Orange: Means that you are still within the required time frame

  • Green: Means that you have not yet reached the start date for the task

Start The selected Start Date of the task
 Finish The selected Finish Date of the task
Budget HoursThe hours allocated on the task
My Actual HoursThe number of timesheet hours captured against the task by yourself
Total Allocated HoursTotal number of hours allocated to all users to complete the task
Total Actual HoursThe collective number of timesheet hours captured against the task by all users allocated to the task

Description

Update TaskTakes you to the full timesheets interface and allows you to enter time against the task, for more detailed entry of time.
Start Time TrackingOpens the Time Tracker with the task information pre-loaded so that you can track time against the task.
Go To Calendar EventNavigates to the month view, and highlights the task in question.
Complete TaskMarks the task as 100% complete

Description

Log TimeTakes you to the full timesheets interface and this will allow you to capture time against a particular client or job not related to your tasks.
Expand AllThis button allows you to expand or collapse lines to view notes
Filter TaskAllows you to apply filters to the list of tasks (eg. Client Name, Finish Date, Budget Hours, etc...).
Print TasksPrints the Task List By User report for the user you're logged in as.

PreviousAllows you to navigate to the previous month/week/day in the calendar view
NextAllows you to navigate to future month/week/day in the calendar view
List ViewTakes you to the List view of My Tasks
Select View

This button allows you to change the view of the My Task view. You can change to three views namely Month view, Week view, and Day view.

  • Month View: Goes to the calendar view, displaying tasks for the current month
  • Week View: Goes to the calendar view, displaying tasks for the current week
  • Day View: Goes to the calendar view, displaying tasks for the current day
