Your agency might not want to share all of the information that appears on a CE, as it will raise questions about the costs that the client has to pay.  Or you might need to print the number of units, the unit price and the amount due by client on the report.  These different ways are all possible when printing a CE for a client.

With the number of options available, you can decide what you need the client to see from your cost sheet. 

Below are steps to show you how to include all the details on a report, but only show the client the overview costs.  

Please note that the Per Unit Price is not equivalent to the @Cost entered on the Cost Sheet.  The value of the unit is calculated based on the Amount (which is the cost plus markup) divided by the units listed on the cost sheet.

Viewing a CE report with unit and unit amounts


  1. Open the Job Bag with the CE that you want to print a report for.
  2. Click on the Print drop down arrow on the Toolbar.



  3. Select Cost Estimate (With Units) from the list that appears.



    The report opens in a new window.  Notice that this report shows the number of units and the cost per unit. 



  4. When satisfied with the information that appears on the report, click the Print button.

    You can print or email this report to a client or use it to report on the job.



Printing a CE that includes all details but only shows the overview costs


  1. Open the Job Bag with the CE that you want to print a report for.
  2. Click the Print drop down arrow button on the Toolbar.



  3. Select Cost Sheet (Without VAT) from the list that appears.



    The report opens in a new window. Notice that this report does not display the unit price for each work type that appears on a CE, but gives an overview of how much the client will be charged for the work to be done. 



  4. When satisfied with the information that appears on the report, click the Print button.

    You can print or email this report to a client or use it to report on the job.
