The purpose of the Timesheet cutoff date is to prevent users from changing historical timesheets that have already been reported on. Users will be restricted from editing or creating timesheets before the cutoff date. This date can be set up for the Agency as a whole, or at a Client specific level.

Step-by-step guide



Set up Agency specific Timesheet Cutoff date


  1. Navigate to Settings and click on Global Settings.



    The Global Settings screen appears.

  2. Click the Timesheet Settings tab.

     

  3. Click the Timesheet Cutoff Date picker and select the cutoff date.

    For this example, 31 December 2019 was selected.



  4. Click the Save button.



    Once the date is specified, users will be prevented from logging timesheets before this cutoff date.

    If the user attempts to complete their timesheets before this date, this error message will be displayed





Set up a Client specific Timesheet Cutoff date


  1. Open the Client for which you want to set up the cutoff date.
  2. Click the Timesheet Cutoff date picker and select the date.

    For this example, 31 December 2019 was selected.



  3. Click the Save button



    Once the date is specified, users will be prevented from logging timesheets for this client before the cutoff date. 

    If the user attempts to complete their timesheets before this date, this error message will be displayed.
