You can assign or reassign Tasks on a Job Bag. This helps you track the progress of your tasks, and provides granular visibility of the tasks on a selected job.

Step-by-step guide
Open the Job Bag from which you want to assign or reassign tasks.

- From the Tasks tab, and then click the Add button to add a new line.
A new Task row will be added to the bottom of the list for editing. On the new row select a Task Type to be assigned.
Info If the Task that you want to assign is not available in the list, speak to your Chase Administrator about adding it. - Select the user or team that will be assigned to this task in the Assigned To field.
- Select the Start and Finish date for this task.
- Enter the number of hours to be allocated for this Task.
- Ensure that Task is selected in the Booking/Task column.
Expand title Reassigning a Task on a Job Bag Anchor reassign reassign You would typically reassign a Task if an incorrect user has been selected, or the user has been overbooked and assigned with too many tasks. In the following example, the task will be reassigned from Francine to Alex.
A Task can be reassigned to a different user on condition that time has not been captured against that Task.
Here's a visual demonstration for reassigning a Task on a Job Bag
- Delete the name in the Assigned To field against the Task you want to reassign.
- Click the Assigned To drop down and select the user that the Task will be reassigned to.
- From the Tasks tab, and then click the Add button to add a new line.
Save all changes made to the Job Bag screen.
The selected user will see the task on the Home page in the Tasks list.
