You can maintain your Bookings via Outlook.
Find out how to:
If Bookings are created in Outlook it is best to edit them in Outlook. This will allow Bookings to be updated on the Resource Planner and in the assigned User's mail. If Bookings are created in Outlook and edited on the Resource Planner, the assigned User's calendars will not be updated.
Chase allows users to decline a Booking request if they are fully booked, or not available on that day. Once a Booking is cancelled, the recipient's name will be removed from the assigned Booking.
Calendar to Chase: If the attendee/recipient declines the meeting sent via Outlook, the Booking will be removed from the User’s calendar and not in Chase. However, the User's name will be removed from that Booking in Chase.
Chase to Calendar: If the attendee/recipient declines the meeting sent from Chase, the Booking will be removed from that Job Bag/Resource Planner and on the User’s calendar.
Click Send the Response Now from the list of options that appear.
Once declined, the User who requested the meeting will receive an email that you have declined the Booking. And your name will be removed as the assigned User of the Booking in Chase.
Bookings created via Outlook cannot be cancelled or edited in Chase. They need to be cancelled in Outlook by the organiser of the meeting. If the meeting organiser cancels a booking sent via Outlook, it will remove the Booking from the assigned User’s calendar, as well as on the Resource Planner/Job Bag. This will also remove the Booking from the assigned User's list on the Auto-Fill time dialog.
Click the Send Cancellation button.
Changes will be automatically forwarded to the assigned users and reflect on the Resource Planner in Chase.
